Lisboa, alongside Tagus and the sea, is increasingly sought by those passionate for golf who like to articulate golfing with a holiday tour, the beach and some quality family time.

Among more than 20 golf courses in the region, 5 of them are within short distance from Quinta de Santo António.

QUINTA DO PERU GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

With Serra da Arrábida in the background plus a diverse route with excellent views over the surrounding landscape, this golf club gives amateurs a pleasant round of golf being also quite challenging for more experienced golfers. Ranked among the 10 best courses in the country in the biennial selection of the European Golf Magazine, this green-forested route covered with beautiful wildflowers has already hosted various competitions on the European Challenge Tour.

AROEIRA I AND AROEIRA II

Aroeira I is set in a dense pine forest speckled with wildflowers and is the natural reserve for many bird species. In fact, it has become known as the “Wentworth of Lisbon”, alluding to the resemblance to the famous London route.

Aroeira II, the new field, takes Aroeira to a higher level and makes it a privileged centre for golfing thanks to 2 parallel paths and a considerable practice area. Due to 5 large lakes in the fields, water landscape is fairly constant along the route.

CAMPO DE GOLFE DO MONTADO

Between Setúbal and Alcácer, regional vineyards and a cork dehesa surround this golf course, that together with streams and lakes make its magical beauty. It is noteworthy, the 13th hole overlooking the castle of Palmela, and the 18th hole where you can play to a green located on an island.

TRÓIAGOLF CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE

Considered one of the most difficult and fascinating golf challenges in Portugal, with sand as the biggest obstacle along the route, it is magnificently located in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Sado estuary with fabulous views of Serra da Arrábida.

It is the best route in Portugal in the categories of challenge and variety, being ranked 4th on the biennial list of the European Golf Magazine and 20th in the table of the best European courses listed by Golf World.
